Vedanium AI ("we", "us") provides a multi-tenant school management platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We act as a data processor for the institutions ("schools") that use Vedanium AI; each school is the data controller for its own students, staff and parents.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — names, login IDs, roles and contact details of school users.
- School records — admissions, attendance, exams, fees and library data entered by the school.
- Enquiry data — details you submit through "Book a demo" (school, contact, email, phone).
- Usage & technical data — log events, device/browser info, and security telemetry.
2. How we use it
To provide and secure the service, process school operations on the school's behalf, respond to demo enquiries and support requests, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal data or use student data for advertising.
3. Tenant isolation & security
Each school runs in its own isolated, encrypted database. Data is never shared across institutions. We apply encryption in transit, role-based access control, audit logging and least-privilege access for our staff.
4. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session security. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
5. Data retention
School data is retained for the life of the school's subscription and deleted or returned on request after termination, subject to legal obligations.
6. Your rights
Students, parents and staff should direct access, correction or deletion requests to their school. Where we are the controller (e.g. demo enquiries), contact us to exercise your rights.
